MINI DIMPLER TEM-MD-200
Mini Dimpler TEM-MD-200 is an easy to use mechanical grinding instrument designed for producing high quality conductive TEM specimen perfectly suitable for subsequent twin jet electropolishing. Metallic specimen ground using the Mini Dimpler ensures more centered hole after electropolishing resulting in sufficiently large thin electron transparent region.
- Suitable for quick dimpling of metallic TEM specimen of thickness up to 150 microns. The typical suggested dimpled thickness after grinding is between 40 Micron to 80 Micron, resulting in preparing specimen suitable for Twin Jet Electropolishing
- Large dimpled area ideal for subsequent Twin Jet Electropolishing
- Gravity based self load on specimen while grinding ensures dimpling process without specimen damage
- Stronger specimen protection rim
- In-built specimen hot plate up to 150 Deg C with auto temperature control allows easy fixation of specimen on stub (using 135 Deg C Melting Point Wax) for subsequent dimple grinding and for easy removal of specimen from stub post dimpling process
- Magnifying illumination glass attachment to assist in precise fixation of specimen on specimen stub
- One specimen stub with slurry funnel
