DISC PUNCH DP 100
The Disc Punch DP 100 prepares specimen discs of 3mm diameter (with an accuracy of ± 10 micron) and thickness ranging from 20 micron to 150 micron for transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The model DP 100 Disc Punch is designed to prepare ductile metals and soft materials for TEM without mechanical distortion. Solid construction and high tolerance design allows maximum force to be used with difficult materials while maintaining specimen quality. The construction of the disc punch is such that one can easily select the position to be punched. A small removable tray simplifies collection of punched discs. The mechanical layout ensures a uniform application of pressure on to the specimen. A strong PVC base makes the disc punch rigid and contributes to the long-term use without loss of precision. The precise construction guarantees sharp edges and easy disc ejection for long term use.
