SPUTTER AND CARBON COATER SNCC-180R

Sputter and Carbon Coater has the same features of Sputter Coater System and additionally incorporates a Carbon Coating mount for deposition of a thin layer of carbon on SEM specimen

Features

  • Used for coating ultrathin electrically conductive thin films of materials like Gold, Gold/ Palladium, Platinum, Silver as well as carbon on non-conductive (insulating) SEM specimen
  • Coat thin film of gold using atmospheric air or Argon gas as well as thin film of gold-palladium alloy, Platinum and silver using Argon gas
  • Magnetron Sputter source capable of handling 57mm diameter targets. The standard thickness of targets to be sputtered is 0.1mm up to 0.2mm
  • Conductive coated films for SEM typically range in 5-20nm thickness
  • Low Voltage power supply to enable current control within 5 mA to 40 mA & enable supply current with in 5mA
  • Carbon evaporation done using flash mode and plus mode
  • Specimen Holder to hold max 12 SEM stubs of 12.5 mm diameter. Specimen holder to target distance can be varied between 20mm to 60mm
